Scoop-A-Poop LLC (“Scoop-A-Poop”, “we”, “us”) is a family-owned pet waste removal service based in Valdosta, Georgia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and through our advertising, what we do with it, and how you can ask us to delete it.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you request a quote — on this website, on a form attached to one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, by phone, or by text — we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and the details of the job you are asking about (for example the number of dogs and the size of your yard).
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the site you arrived from. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
  • Payment information. We do not collect or store card numbers on this website. Payments are handled by our scheduling and invoicing provider.

How we use it

  • To reply to your quote request and to arrange, carry out and invoice your service.
  • To contact you about your visits — for example to confirm a date or to tell you we are running late.
  • To keep our own records of work done and payments received.
  • To improve our website and understand which of our ads bring in enquiries.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We do share it with the companies that help us run the business, and only so far as they need it to do that job:

  • Jobber — our quote, scheduling and invoicing system. The quote form on this site is provided by Jobber, and what you type into it goes to them on our behalf.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — when you complete a lead form attached to one of our ads, Meta passes your answers to us. Meta’s own handling of that information is covered by Meta’s privacy policy.
  • Our website host and email provider — who store the site and carry messages between us.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer records for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

Your choices

  • Ask us what we hold, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.
  • Stop hearing from us. Tell us by phone, text or email and we will stop sending you messages that are not about a service you have booked.
  • Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
